- 5th Annual Bruce Pearl Golf Classic
- Well the season is over and what a great year we had for basketball fans in Tennessee.
After working with coach the past few months, we have finally set a date for the 5th Annual Bruce Pearl Golf Class.
The tournament will be held again at Gettysvue Country Club on Friday, September 17th.
Under recommendation from sponsors and players in years past, the Golf Committee has changed the sponsorship package.
This year with each sponsorship four individuals, from each team, will be able to attend the sponsorship dinner.
The dinner will be held Thursday evening, September 16th, with Coach Pearl.
Because of your generosity over the past few years the camp has been able to send 150 kids to camp instead of the
regular 110.
Before we open registration we would like to give all of our past sponsors time to sign up.
Please fill out the sign up sheet and fax it to 865-588-5070. We look forward to seeing you on
September 17th.
Thank you for your gracious support.

- Camp Koinonia
- Camp Koinonia (Coin-o-nia) is a residential camping program that strives to enhance the lives of children
with disabilities who attend.
The word Koinonia is a Greek word that means "fellowship and caring community". The name came about as a result
of a contest to name the camp during the first year of the camp at Virginia Tech.
Dr. Gene Hayes began the camp in 1977 at Virginia Tech. There were 120 students and 60 campers in attendance that
first year. Since the first camp, over 2,000 students and 1,200 campers have attended Camp Koinonia.
